Lolo jones, the champion of the USA and World hurdles, has earned this title after a long period of hard work and incredible endurance. Jones' childhood was difficult because she was born to a single mother within a large household. Her mother and she lived in a basement church and was always moving around. Jones' nomadic lifestyle forced her to change schools every year until she reached high school. Jones had to live away from mother at Theodore Roosevelt School to pursue her love of track. She was a member of four families during her time at high school in order study in one place. Jones, a cellist in the school's orchestra, and winner of Gatorade Track and Field Iowa award for athlete of the Year won her an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award towards the close of high school. Jones was one of the most skilled hurdlers in her first year of the college. She won the 100-meter obstacle at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Jones also was a part of the team that finished second in the 100-meter Relay event. Jones took home both the hurdles in the indoor as well as outdoor hurdles event at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones began training in 2005, when she completed her college studies. That same year she was the winner of her first Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she was the winner of the Ostrava Track race as well as Heusden.
Brandt immigrated out of Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the end of her teens. Brandt was found by casting directors in her home town and was cast in the role of Naevia in the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Lesley Brandt is a supporting character on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teen hostage. She was later depicted her character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena mini-series.
