Zulay is an American-Colombian performer who best knows for her character, Esperanza as she appears in "If You Loved You Wasn't Right", a drama on Oprah Winfrey Network. Zulay Henao has played in numerous films like Illegal Tender and 'Takers', Boy Wonder,' and True Memoirs of an International Assassin. In the early years of her life, when she was only four years old Her family along with her relocated from Medellin in Antioquia to the USA. She served for three years serving in the U.S. Army after high school. She also attended Methodist College, while stationed on Fort Bragg North Carolina. She then pursued an acting course in the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She also worked odd jobs, and started her professional career in Hollywood. In 2014, she's been with American model Joel Rush. Previously, she was engaged to actor Terrace Howard. Henao places her family as her first priority.
