16 September 1958 Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard circumstances. Her father was a salesman for automobiles and her mother was a teacher at school and was an unreliable actor. Jennifer is the third of her family's four children often accompanied her mother for her performances at the theater, and was very impressed with her. Jennifer's parents separated at the age of 5 years old. Jennifer was brought up in British Columbia by her mother who moved there with her four siblings. Jennifer did not appear to be a scholarly sort, despite the fact that she was quite artistic as a child. Because of her experience in Canada's public schools, Jennifer was the subject of a lot of bullying. The theater interest diminished during her high school years, and as a result she took part in theater by herself with the assistance of her mother. She encouraged all her children to become passionate about the arts. Following that, she began to take action.
