Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 in very poor circumstances. Her father worked as a salesman, and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer was the second child in a family of four children she was frequently at her mother's theater performance and was awestruck. Jennifer's parents split at the age of 5 years older. Jennifer resided in British Columbia for most of her life following the divorce of her mother, along with the others moved there. Jennifer did not attend school although as a kid she was extremely artistic. She was frequently the target of a bullying incident as a result of her experience in Canada's schools. When her enthusiasm for theatre was fading in high school she started playing in theatre together with her mom. Her children all were inspired by their mother to explore a passion for the arts. Her immediate response was to take action.
