Jennifer Tilly, born on September 16, 1958 at Los Angeles under extremely poor conditions. Her father was a vehicle salesman, while her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer, the second of her family's four children, frequently attended her mother for her performances at the theater, and was much impressed by her. Jennifer's parents divorced when she was 5 years older. Jennifer was a part of her young life in British Columbia after her mom was moved to the province along with four other children. Jennifer did not consider herself a professional however, she was a talented artist in her youth. As a result of her education in the public schools of Canada, Jennifer came under the sway of much bullying. In the years that her interest in theatre waned, she began acting in shows to support her mom. She was inspired by her mom to motivate all kids in her family to have a passion and interest in the performing arts. Her immediate response was to take the initiative.
