Michele Carey, also known as Michele Lee Henson, is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a doctor and Thelma Burell Henson. She was born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America in 26 February 1942. She had a prodigious piano playing in her teens and took home the national prize in the Chicago Music Festival at just 13 years old. Fort Collins High School is where she obtained her highschool diploma in 1960. In order to pursue her dream, she relocated to Los Angeles.
