She spent the majority of her growing up in Falls Church. In her early years as she began learning ballet at Washington School of Ballet, she discovered a love for arts and performing. She had a successful dancing profession at first and participated in a variety of school productions. After entering high-school she was a part of every production of her school. This is what led her to acting. She eventually quit dancing. She attended Carnegie Mellon University for two years but left following that time to pursue her acting profession. Louisa was raised in an extended family of four. Lida Jean Wright, Louisa's mother is American. The father of Louisa, Robert Henry Krause had a half-Japanese background. Nathaniel Krause, her younger brother who works as Director for a film company is also a film maker. Krause likes spending much of her time free time with her family traveling to the woods and grilling. She feels a strong emotional connection to her brother, and even moved into a house close to the other to meet regularly. Louisa Krause's debut in her career Louisa Krause did not begin acting professionally in order to make the money. It was to appear in front of serious movie production companies. In a Dark Dark House, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and other Off-Broadway productions were among the first productions she starred. The first time she tried film acting came in late 2007 when she took support parts in the films Babysitter as well as The Speed of Life . Then she took a hiatus of two years from acting to appear as a character in Toe to Toe, Taking Woodstock as well as Toe to Toe. The following two years were spent making short films.
