An alumnus from Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in the arts while growing as a child. She has performed on stage as well as at schools. Butler started filming The Stranger Within with Estella and William Baldwin, the psychological thriller set in Mallorca beginning in November of 2011. The film was scheduled for shooting on location in Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She was part of the crew for the feature film independent Treachery with Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012. Butler co-starred with Michael Welch in 2013's horror film The Demented.
