Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role of Bo. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory when she was at rehearsals for play together with her mother. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was a young child. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, the couple were married civilly in December 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place May of 2013, and her son was who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as the character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk was working on Lost Girl since the third season finale episode premiered on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an enormous online following through social networks.
